Two veteran musicians performing as Katmanduo perform a variety of popular musical choices, along with a serving of obscure golden nuggets, for you listening pleasure. We provide a welcome, round and pleasing sound that you are sure to enjoy. The songs we perform contain rich two-part harmonies and stylings from finger picked acoustic guitar, lavish keyboards and sometimes backing tracks that we produce ourselves. No off the shelf music in this duo.
Katmanduo is actually Howard Arner and Eric Arndt who are both accomplished musicians that have been playing together in several different bands for many years. Eric is a fan of Rock, Blues, Folk, and early country music and Howard is a fan of Rock, Prog and Jazz. Both of them share a love of difficult songs and love to play musical pieces that surprise the audience. Many times, people come up after a performance and have said the words, “I’ve never heard a band play that song in a bar before!”
