Phil Cirocco at Discrete Synthesizers finished the repair and restoration of my Arp-2600. Turns out that mine was put together in March of 1973 so she is quite old, but worth every penny I put into her. She now sounds top notch! I cannot waitas I am about to order a new Midi/CV interface unit and will be able to control her from my computer.
The following upgrades were made to my unit:
- Upgraded power supply
- Audiio path upgrade
- LED Pack so I can “see” the speed of my LFO
- EF Time Expander Switches
- Sync switches
- Replace my filter with a 4012CX filter
- Replace my VCA with a 9019CX VCA
- Reverb “drive” potentiometer
