Edvard Grieg’s Anitra’s Dance is an awesome tune from the Opus 46 Peer Gynt – Suite 1 and is the third composition in the suite. This rendition that I have created uses 14 tracks of synthesized instruments. I change the pizzicato parts of the score to be separate instruments instead of just pizzicato violin, viola and cello. I like it better that way. Of course, the only percussion in the original piece is a triangle, so I took the liberty of scoring a percussion accompaniment.

This track will be released on my upcoming album, Peer Gynt’s Peer which will include all of Opus 46 and a bonus track of my interpretation of Puck.
