A little Debussy always brightens my day. This is the first movement, Prelude, from Suite Bergamasque. I used 6 sampled piano patches like my 5 meter grand, distant grand, echo grand and Fender Rhodes with Pedal Board to get the spacious effect I desired.

The prelude uses an improvisational style and is modeled to capture the feeling of an impromptu performance. It references the arabesque style which is an ornamental shape of notes found in Baroque music and arts. Think of lines forming and crossing themselves in artwork, that is an arabesque!

Debussy is like an impressionist painted, but using sound to convey the picture rather than paint and canvas.
