This is my precious Micro Kitty. As you can tell from the photo, she it not really micro any more. That’s because we had her dewormed and she would still eat like she had worms!

I met her at a Microtel hotel in the Villages around Christmas. The hotel was 2.5 hours away from home. She was staying out front and being fed by the staff, that why they called her micro kitty.

The staff, and I thought she was a kitten. I wanted her, but Carla said no. We went home. All week I anguished about the kitty as she would have no one to be with on Christmas. Finally, Carla said if you want that kitty so bad go and get it. So I got in the car and drove down to the Villages and picked her up. I don’t think Carla thought that I would go, but I did.

At first she hid under the bed and was afraid of everything. Also, Punkin kitty hated her and always hissed at her. However, Micro stood her ground and was not scared of Punkin. We took Micro to the vet and found out she wasn’t a kitten, in fact she had had one or more litters. Oh well, she was so skinny and small we had though she was a kitten.

She eventually got over staying under the bed and found several places in the house where she was comfortable. She would stay on a love seat between the kitchen and living room so she could watch the house. She would stay next to me on the table by the couch. She would sleep on our bed all day after we finally vacated “her” space. And whenever Carla changed the sheets, Micro Kitty would “help” by laying on the bed and slowly moving as Carla attempted to make it. I wish we had that on video.

she lived with us for about 5 years.

About 2 weeks after Tigger died, he died two days after Christmas, we had to go to our granddaughters cheer leading competition. We left the house. When we got home, she was gone. We do not know how she got out. She was not an outside cat, she hated outside. The two previous times she had gotten outside she hid under the back porch. I looked high and low and have not seen her. I miss her terribly
That was 11 years ago, I still miss her.

Here is a sone I put together just for her.
